Department of Sociology, Sofia University and the Centre for Liberal Strategies invite you to the public lecture and discussion of Irina Yassina on the topic: How to talk about the dividing past April 22, 2009 (Wednesday), 18.00 h. at the Sofia University Rectorate, Hall 1
--- Irina Yassina is an economist by education and a journalist by vocation. She is a deputy president of the Liberal Mission Fund and a program director of the Open Russia Fund (established by Mikhail Hodorkovsky) till its compulsive closing by Russian authorities in 2006. In 2001 she established and managed the Regional Journalistic Club of Russia. In 2006 Irina joined the Institute for Transitional Economies, directed by Egor Gaydar. At the present moment Irina Yassina is involved in a research project dealing with the historical notebooks in the post-soviet area.
